John & Alysia Yates
John and Alysia live in Raleigh, NC, with their four children: Sylvia (7), Isabel (6), Jack (3) and Alexander (1). John is the rector of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, a six-year old church plant in the heart of the city. They recently moved from the Philadelphia area where John served as an assistant at Church of the Good Samaritan, Paoli. Alysia has her hands full most days keeping track of wild little boys and encouraging precocious little girls to do their homework. John is active in the Society for the Advancement of Ecclesial Theology (www.saet-online.org) a small fellowship of younger pastors looking to revive the model of the pastor as theologian. They love their new home in the woods!
